SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Mike Halpin, D-Rock Island, is holding a town hall in the United Township High School with the Mayor Reggie Freeman of Moline, to discuss local issues and seek opinions from constituents on Tuesday, April 23, at 6 p.m.
“It is critical I regularly hear from my constituents,” Halpin said. “Not only are meetings like this crucial for good, transparent government, they let me stay in touch with the priorities of the people I represent. I’m pleased to be working with Mayor Freeman, to offer local residents a chance to discuss both the state and local issues that matter most to them.”
