Hoffman Visits Franklin Elementary School to Greet Local Students in Belleville

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Jay Hoffman, D-Swansea, visited Franklin Elementary School last week to meet and speak with local students in Belleville.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of public service is being afforded the opportunity to speak with young students about their interests as well as learning about the activities they are involved in,” Hoffman said. “The students at Franklin Elementary help put our educational priorities in perspective by demonstrating that public education is worth fighting for.”

After returning from a busy week in Springfield last week, Hoffman greeted and met with school students, teachers and other faculty as part of his annual visit to Franklin Elementary School.  

“Thanks to the exceptional teaching staff at Franklin Elementary School, the students who attend there receive a great educational experience,” Hoffman said.
