BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – State Rep. Daniel Didech, D-Buffalo Grove, is inviting residents to enjoy a cup of coffee while discussing state and local issues at his “Donuts with Dan” event on Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. in the Cook Room at Indian Trails Public Library, located at 355 Schoenbeck Rd. in Wheeling.
“Being out in the community and speaking to people where they live is the most important part of being a representative,” Didech said. “Events like these are the foundation of my job. I am encouraging residents to come and meet face-to-face over a cup of coffee to talk about what’s important to them.”
Didech hopes that the event will help to make state and government more effective for local families and ensure their views are represented in the legislative process. The event is free, open the public, and will feature complimentary coffee and pastries.
“I’m looking forward to talking with the community about what we can do to create positive change in our state and neighborhoods,” Didech said. “I encourage anyone who wants to ask a question, share their thoughts, or learn more about what is happening in state and local government to stop by.”
