OTTAWA, Ill. – State Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, visited with Ana Koval, President & CEO of the Canal Corridor Association to discuss issues regarding conservation and preservation of the Illinois and Michigan Canal.

“As state representative, it’s very important to me to make sure that our local conservation is protected and available. Serving as a member of the Agricultural & Conversation committees allows me a unique perspective on legislation that can affect a lot of local destinations. I value the opportunity to meet with organizations like the Canal Corridor Association to learn more about the issues surrounding local conservation and our waterways.”

The Canal Corridor Association is a nonprofit organization dedication to preserving history, nature and create destinations in the  I& M Canal National Heritage Area.
