ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is hosting “Coffee with Sam” to meet with constituents to discuss issues facing the community and the state as a whole. Yingling will be hosting “Coffee with Sam” at Something’s Brewing, located on 1126 E. Washington St. in Grayslake on Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to noon.
“The most important aspect of my job in Springfield is representing the people who sent me there,” said Yingling. “Giving the people of the 62nd District an opportunity to bring their concerns and questions directly to me is part of my duty as state representative.”
Yingling will be free to discuss issues facing the state of Illinois and the northwest suburbs and to answer questions to help citizens wanting to be more informed about the processes of government. Meeting with community members is a small part of Yingling’s commitment to transparent state government.
“It is an honor and a privilege to represent our community in Springfield,” said Yingling. “With the challenges facing our state, it is important for me to listen to the people I represent and bring their voices to the table in Springfield.”
