SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – During a visit with Touchette Regional Hospital this week, state Rep. LaToya Greenwood, D-East St. Louis, toured the facility’s campus and met with hospital staff to discuss ongoing medical efforts.

“I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to tour Touchette Regional Hospital,” Greenwood said. “It is reassuring to know that we have such a dedicated team of medical professionals devoting their time and efforts to improving health care outcomes.”

Greenwood was joined by state Sen. Christopher Belt, industry professionals, and local physicians for a tour and discussion on the hospital’s mission and steps it is taking to serve the health and wellness needs of the community.

“I want to personally thank everyone involved for taking time out of their busy schedules to educate us about the resources and services available at Touchette Regional Hospital,” Greenwood said. “I am committed to working closely with medical professionals and industry experts to meet the medical demands of our community.”
