“During these busy session months, it is critical to be in contact with constituents back home to let them know what’s going on and to listen to their concerns,” said Willis. “There are also major pieces of legislation that we will be working on this year and people need to know what exactly is in them, like the upcoming $15 minimum wage bill.”
Willis will be hosting mobile office hours throughout the year to bring her office and state resources to residents in need of assistance or who have questions about current legislation or local concerns. Residents who are unable to attend the event in Addison can contact Willis at her full-time constituent service office at 708-562-6970 or by emailing repwillis77@gmail.com, either to make an appointment or for a schedule of upcoming office hours.
“My residents need to know what paths Illinois will be taking in order to correct the past four years of failed leadership and pass laws that benefit people,” said Willis. “I look forward to meeting my residents and hearing what they have to say about new bills and the ideas they think will make Illinois better for everyone.”
