DES PLAINES, Ill. – State Rep. Marty Moylan, D-Des Plaines, is asking residents to share their ideas for legislation this upcoming General Assembly.

“I am always open to new ideas for improving the state of Illinois,” Moylan said. “Being responsive to the ideas and input of my neighbors is not only an honor, but it is my duty as an elected official to truly represent the communities that grant me the privilege to serve them.”

Residents are encouraged to submit their ideas, regardless of the scope of the measure or what it seeks to address. Individuals can reach out to Moylan’s constituent services office at 847-635-6821, or by emailing ideas and proposals to staterepmoylan@gmail.com. Suggestions, which are asked to be sent in by Jan. 23, will be reviewed by Moylan and his staff.

“With a new year and a new General Assembly, I look forward to working with my colleagues to serve the people of Illinois,” Moylan said. “Making sure everyone in Illinois knows they can take part in the process is essential for a healthy democracy.”
