CALUMET CITY, Ill. – State Rep. Thaddeus Jones, D-Calumet City, is seeking residents’ input on new and creative bill ideas for the upcoming legislative session.

“I want my residents to know that they can come to me for anything they might need help with or with ideas they have to improve our community,” said Jones. “We have a new opportunity to make long-lasting legislation this year that puts people first and gets Illinois moving forward.”

As a new General Assembly begins its term, Jones is asking south suburban residents to submit ideas Jones can introduce as new bills. There are no limits to submitting ideas to Jones’ office and all ideas are welcome. People looking to submit ideas to the office can do so by calling 708-596-7053 or by scheduling a meeting in the district office at www.repthaddeusjones.com.

“Now that Bruce Rauner’s assault on working family’s wages and health care is over, we can double our efforts to lift up the middle class and do what’s right for people,” said Jones. “People working with people is the best way to tackle our common problems, and I look forward to the ideas that come to me.”
