BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. – In an effort to provide local residents with property tax relief, state Rep. Jonathan Carroll, D-Buffalo Grove, will be hosting a property tax assessment appeal seminar on Monday, June 4 at the Northbrook Public Library.

“I understand the financial strains that property taxes can put on homeowners,” Carroll said. “To help residents get much needed relief, I’m teaming up with Northfield Township Assessor Patricia Damisch to host a free property tax assessment appeal seminar to assist homeowners in saving their hard-earned dollars.”

Carroll’s property tax assessment appeal seminar will be held on Monday, June 4 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Northbrook Public Library, located at 1201 Cedar Ln. in Northbrook. The event will be co-hosted by Northfield Township Assessor Patricia Damisch, whose expertise will provide a thorough overview in identifying cost-savings methods and techniques. Attendees are encouraged to bring their most recent assessment and other related documentation. This event is free and open to the public.

“I encourage those who are interested in attending to bring a copy of all relevant paperwork and other documentation to help maximize any savings,” Carroll said. “I’m looking forward to meeting everyone who is able to join us.”
