Yingling Visits with Local Realtors in Capitol

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Realtors from central-western Lake County met with state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, in Springfield to discuss property taxes and other issues regarding small business development.

“If we are to attract more families and businesses to Illinois, then we must make our state more affordable and less reliant on taxes,” Yingling said. “The local realtors I met with in Springfield share my goals of reforming our regressive, broken property tax code and making our government less costly and more efficient through consolidation. Further, the conversations we had will help guide the decisions I continue to make on behalf of businesses, homeowners and taxpayers throughout our area.”
