SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – To celebrate the untold stories of women living in our own local communities, state Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, will be hosting her 7th Annual Hidden Gems in Our Community meeting.
“Coming together to share our stories and perspectives as women, mothers, and professionals gives us a chance to commiserate over our struggles and celebrate our triumphs,” said Mussman. “It is very empowering and reenergizing to have this special time with each other.”
Mussman’s 7th Annual Hidden Gems in Our Community event will be on Saturday, March 10, from 10:00 am to noon, at Friendship Village of Schaumburg, located at 350 W. Schaumburg Rd. Friendship Village encourages attendees to take advantage of their free valet parking, as the front parking lot is small and may fill up quickly. The meeting is free to attend and open to local women. RSVP is encouraged, but not necessary to attend.
“I encourage local women and girls to join us at the Hidden Gems in Our Community meeting to share their stories, and hear those of our neighbors,” continued Mussman. “Each of us has something special to add to the conversation, so I hope to see you there!”
