AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, is inviting area residents to meet with her to discuss issues they care about at her “Coffee with Kifowit” stops throughout her district in March.

“It is important that I am available to residents so they can directly communicate their questions, concerns, and ideas,” Kifowit said. “My weekly coffee visits are a great way to begin the week, exchanging ideas so I may stay informed on what people are thinking.”

All “Coffee with Kifowit” events are free and open to the public. Attendees will be treated to a refreshment of their choice. Kifowit will be joined by Congressman Bill Foster, who will give an update about national issues and answer questions at her March 5 coffee stop. The events are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., and will take place at the following locations:

  • Monday, March 5 at Pomegranate Café, 55 S Commons Dr., Aurora;
  • Monday, March 12 at Maxfield’s, 2290 Ogden Ave., Aurora;
  • Monday, March 19 at Benny’s Place, 1158 Douglas Rd., Oswego;
  • Monday, March 26 at Panera Bread, 2775 Showplace Dr., Naperville

“With so much going on in our community and state, I enjoy giving a weekly briefing on current events,” Kifowit said. “I encourage my residents to attend one of my coffee stops so they can become informed and involved.”
