JOLIET, Ill. – To help residents save money on their monthly utility and phone bills, state Rep. Larry Walsh, D-Joliet, and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) are partnering to host a free Utility Bill Clinic on Tuesday, Feb 20 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Will County Senior Center, located at 251 N. Center St. in Joliet.
“These are simple cash-saving tips that will help everyone save a few bucks each month,” Walsh said. “Those few dollars can add up and make a big difference down the road when it comes to paying bills”
Walsh will have in experts from CUB, a nonprofit organization dedicated to representing residential utility consumers across the state, to explain ways to save on your utility bills. Attendees should bring their gas, electric and phone bills to the event. A staff person from CUB will give each attendee a free, one-on-one consultation to identify areas where they can save money.
