NORTHLAKE, Ill. – State Rep. Kathleen Willis, D-Addison, recently spoke at the DuPage County Area Project Christmas party in Bensenville. The event was hosted by the Hispanic Parents in Action-Bensenville and had a total of 163 children who attended with their families.
Other prominent figures who attended included the General Consul of Guatemala in Chicago Nelson R. Olivero-Garcia, Vice Consul Brenda Paz Gomez and the Chief of the Bensenville Police Department Frank Kosman. Attendees were treated with food, games and gifts during the event.
“Events like this help our community bond and grow with each other,” Willis said. “I’m very thankful to have been invited to attend the Christmas party and share in the festivities with local families.
