BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. State Rep. Jonathan Carroll, D-Buffalo Grove, is inviting local residents to attend his first “Coffee and Conversation” of the new year on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Buffalo Restaurant & Parlor, located at 1180 W. Lake Cook Rd. in Buffalo Grove.

“I want to hear what residents want to see from their government before I head back to Springfield,” said Carroll. “That’s why I have been spending so much time knocking on doors in the cold weather, hosting small listening sessions and speaking with community leaders.”

Carroll’s “Coffee and Conversations” provide residents the opportunity to meet their state representative and share their views on state government in a casual, informal setting. Carroll will be available to answer questions and address concerns that local residents may have, and to provide updates on the recent legislative session. These events are free and open to any resident in the 57th district. For more information, please contact Carroll’s constituent service office at 847-229-5499 or email repjonathancarroll@gmail.com.

“The ideas that residents share with me are critical in Springfield as we try to steer Illinois onto the right track,” Carroll continued. “If you cannot make it to my ‘Coffee and Conversation’, please call or email my office, as I want to hear from every resident.”
