ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Continuing his support for local schools and education, State Representative Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, presented Round Lake Area High School District 116 officials with a formal resolution honoring and celebrating their placement on the U.S. News & World Report list of best schools in the state and nation last week.

“It was my honor to have stood alongside some of our nation’s best academic leaders and to have commemorated their recent prestigious recognition,” Yingling said. “Our school children continue to be our state’s greatest resource and it is crucial that we keep investing in their success. I’m also proud to recognize and celebrate all the fine educators we have right here in the 62nd district. These educators motivate and inspire our children every single day.”

Yingling presented Round Lake Area High School District 116 officials with House Resolution 499. This measure commemorates the achievements by the school district as they were named one of the top schools by the U.S. News & World Report’s top schools award from over the summer
