HANOVER PARK, Ill. – As part of an ongoing district-wide tour of elementary schools, state Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, visited Greenbrook Elementary School in Hanover Park recently to meet with faculty and staff to discuss how lawmakers in Springfield can best promote student achievement.

“Touring the schools in my community gives me an opportunity to stay on top of the issues that our educators and students are facing every day,” said Mussman. “The passion that I see from the teachers, students, faculty and staff at Greenbrook Elementary inspires me to keep fighting for education down in Springfield. Thank you to Greenbrook Elementary for a great tour and for demonstrating how students in all the grades are using technology to enhance and differentiate education.”

Greenbrook Elementary School serves pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students. Greenbrook educates approximately 500 students with a mission to provide a quality education to develop the knowledge, skills, character and attitudes to prepare each student for academic success.

State Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, speaks with Greenbrook Elementary School Principal John Gustafson and Keeneyville School District 20 Director of Operations Wendy Flaherty.
