COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – With school back in full swing and the fall season right around the corner, state Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, is hosting two upcoming “Coffee with Katie” meetings for local residents.
“I’ve been hosting Coffee with Katie meetings since I took office in January,” said Stuart. “I enjoy visiting different locations around the 112th District and having folks spend some time with me sharing their concerns or asking questions about changes in Illinois.”
Stuart’s events will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Goshen Market in Edwardsville and on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble in Fairview Heights, located at 6510 N Illinois St.
“Although I am a tea drinker, meeting over coffee is a great way to have an informal conversation and get to know people on a more personal level,” Stuart added. “I never have a formal agenda. I am simply available to answer any questions or hear any concerns you may have. I hope in the cooler fall weather we can enjoy a warm beverage and a nice chat.”
