JOLIET, Ill. – State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, recently visited with local residents at a “Coffee and Conversation” she hosted in Bolingbrook

“It is my goal to be accessible as possible to all of my constituents,” Manley said. “Coffee and Conversations allow me to have in depth discussions with residents about their concerns with what is happening in Springfield.”

Manley provided an update to local residents about the recent budget that was passed and how that is helping universities, community colleges and social service agencies. Manley also highlighted the bipartisan efforts update the school funding formula and provide property tax relief to homeowners.

“Whether I am hearing from people at Satellite Office Hours, Coffee and Conversations or at their door, they are truly concerned about what is going on in the state,” Manley said. “I take all of the ideas that people share with me back to Springfield to share with other legislators as we try to get Illinois back on the right track. If I missed the opportunity to visit with you, please call or email my office. I look forward to hearing from you!”
