ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Continuing his legislative and outreach efforts to better address issues that affect local veterans and their families, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, met with representatives of the Veterans Assistance Commission of Lake County (V.A.C.L.C.) during their monthly meeting Wednesday.

“Our military personnel’s continued efforts, both at home and abroad, to protect our nation’s freedom must not go unnoticed and we must always work to better their lives,” Yingling said. “In Springfield, I am working to create more economic opportunities for our veterans and provide them much needed and deserved tax relief, but our work remains unfinished. Back home in my district, I appreciate every opportunity to visit with our areas leaders in the veterans’ advocacy fields and look forward to our continued work together.”
