Yingling Speaks on Government Reform at Lake County Government Reform and Accountability Forum

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – As a longtime advocate for government consolidation, property tax relief and strengthening Illinois’ ethic laws, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, participated in a countywide discussion about government reform Wednesday.

“Upon taking office, I have made reforming government to be more efficient and accountable to the taxpayers one of my highest priorities,” Yingling said. “From spearheading legislation that would enable voters to dissolve duplicative layers of government working to expand our transparency laws to make our government open and accessible, I have been one of our area’s loudest voices on the subject of government reform. That said, it will take all stakeholders working together and I appreciate the opportunity to join other leaders for this important discussion.”
