CHICAGO – To offer residents the opportunity to voice their concerns about issues facing the state and to get an update on the status of negotiations on education funding reform, state Rep. Jaime Andrade, D-Chicago, attended the Greater Independence Park Farmer’s Market on Sunday.
“Accessibility has always been one of my top priorities and not everyone has the time to come in to my office to voice their concern about an issue,” Andrade said. “By attending community events like the farmers market, it’s easier for residents to voice their concerns.”
The next Greater Independence Park Farmer’s Market is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Independence Park, located at 3945 N. Springfield Ave.
