CHICAGO – State Rep. Jaime Andrade (D-Chicago) is co-hosting a community shred day with 45th Ward Alderman John Arena on Saturday, August 19th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the St. Viator Middle School parking lot located at 4140 W. Addison St. in Chicago.
“Disposing of sensitive and personal documents residents are able to help protect their personal information being exploited and falling victim to fraud,” Andrade said. “I urge residents stop by the shred day and safely dispose of sensitive documents that they have lying around their homes.”
Residents are invited to bring old, unneeded documents such as old tax returns, pay stubs, bills, and receipts to be safely disposed of. This event is free and open to the public.
