CHICAGO – To help residents save on their utility and phone bills, state Rep. John D’Amico, D-Chicago, hosted a utility bill clinic with the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) on Monday.
“I want my district office to lend a helping hand and connect local residents to free resources,” D’Amico said. Especially during tough economic times, small savings each month can provide significant relief for the many families in our neighborhoods operating on tight budgets. I would like to thank the Citizens Utility Board for helping out the hard-working families in my district learn how to save a few bucks on their utility bills.”
At D’Amico’s event, residents received one-on-one consultations from CUB staff to help them identify ways they could save on their utility and phone bills each month.
D’Amico gives out a complimentary energy efficient light-bulb and discusses ways to create savings on utility bills with a resident attending his free utility bill clinic.
