CHICAGO – To connect residents with ways to save on their utility and phone bills state Rep. John D’Amico, D-Chicago is hosting a community shred day Monday, July 10th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Niles Public Library, located at 6960 W. Oakton St. in Niles.
“Small savings each month can, over time, add up and help make the difference in being able to afford unexpected costs,” D’Amico said. “I’m thankful to the Citizens Utility Board for coming out to help the hard-working families in my district save a few bucks each month.”
Attendees should bring their gas, electric and phone bills to the event. A staff person with CUB will give each attendee a free, one-on-one consultation to identify areas of potential savings. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact D’Amico’s full-time constituent service office at 773-736-0218 or johnd@ilga.gov.
