Moylan Prepared to Continue Working on a Fair and Responsible Budget

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Marty Moylan, D-Des Plains, issued the following statement Friday as budget negotiations continue to take place:

“Today’s bipartisan vote to advance a fair and responsible budget in the House is the first step towards ending the budget crisis, but much work remains. I am ready to work as long as it takes to pass a budget that is good for middle class families in my district. I urge the governor to allow these bipartisan negotiations to continue and to not derail the progress made today.”
