JOLIET, Ill. – State Rep. Natalie Manley joined local elected officials, community leaders and volunteer at Joliet’s Miracle League Field to celebrate the 10th season for the Miracle League. Founded by Pete and Sharon Ferro, the Miracle League, a non-profit organization that provides children with disabilities, an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.
“I am proud to live in a community with so many people dedicated to serving others,” said Manley. “I would like to thank Pete and Sharon, as well as their many volunteers, for all they do every year to ensure that the Miracle League has a successful season. It is wonderful to be able to watch these special athletes have the opportunity to play.”
