Jones Collaborates with SouthTown Arts Entertainment Cultural Center’s 2017 Entrepreneurs Small Business Expo to Engage Residents and Entrepreneurs

CALUMET CITY, Ill. – State Rep. Thaddeus Jones, D-Calumet City, is inviting residents and entrepreneurs to attend SouthTown Arts Entertainment Cultural Center’s Second Annual Small Business Expo on Saturday, May 27 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Southland Center, located at 10 Southland Drive in Lynwood, Illinois

“Small businesses are the drivers of our economy and I want to do everything I can to help entrepreneurs open up shop in our community,” Jones said. “This free to the public expo will give residents the chance to connect with other local business owners and help take the first step towards accomplishing their goal of owning their own business.”

Jones’ is teaming up with the SouthTown Art Entertainment Cultural Center for their Second Annual Small Business Expo. The free to public expo (vendor registration fee) will include keynotes speakers from local business owners and area banks. Small enterprise vendors will showcase their products and services. The Expo expects to have more than 500+ attendees from across the Chicagoland area shopping for products and services, developing business leads, gaining new insights and networking with peers.

SouthTown Arts Entertainment Cultural Center is a grassroots organization whose goal is to bring the arts entertainment and cultural programs to the south suburbs of Chicago through various community partnership initiatives.
