SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – State Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, is working to ensure local voices are heard in Springfield by continuing to walk door-to-door throughout her district, listening to residents’ thoughts and concerns and bringing the assistance of her full-time constituent service office directly to their front doors.
“Rather than expect people to seek me out, I want to do everything I can to be accessible to my constituents and make sure that their opinions are heard,” Mussman said. “When the House is not in session, I spend my time traveling throughout the district to get the best grasp I can of the issues that are important to families in our community. Many middle-class families, small business owners, senior citizens, and others are struggling right now, and it’s important to me to listen to and address their needs.”
Throughout her time in office, Mussman has worked to remain accessible by walking door-to-door throughout her district, attending community events, visiting local schools and businesses, and hosting town hall meetings. Her full-time constituent service office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and can be reached at 847-923-9104. You can share your thoughts with Mussman at staterepmussman@gmail.com or message her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/repmussman.
Mussman serves the 56th District, which includes portions of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Roselle, Rolling Meadows, and Palatine.
