SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Chicago, is asking constituents for their input on legislative priorities for the upcoming spring session of the General Assembly beginning in January.

“As I go door-to-door and talk to residents throughout the community, I have been asking them for their input on what issues are important to them, including ideas for potential legislation,” said Lilly. “Making state government more accessible to residents is one of my top priorities, and finding a variety of ways to engage the community is very important to me.”

In January, legislators will return to Springfield to introduce and pass new legislation. New ideas for laws are welcomed and encouraged from residents throughout the district. Any ideas should be submitted to Lilly’s constituent service office through phone or email.

“I look forward to reviewing the new ideas from across the 78th district and using them as potential bill ideas,” said Lilly. “I am always encouraging constituents to be engaged and to speak up about how we can best improve our communities.”

Lilly represents the 78th District, which includes parts of Chicago, Oak Park, Elmwood Park, River Grove, Franklin Park and Melrose Park. Please contact her office at 773-473-7300, or email her at StateRepCamilleYLilly@gmail.com.
