AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Linda Chapa LaVia, D-Aurora, will partner with Huntington Bank to host a free financial literacy seminar on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. at the Prisco Community Center, located at 150 W. Illinois Ave. in Aurora.
Topics covered by representatives from Huntington Bank at the seminar will include how to make a household budget, the basics of credit and how to apply for a loan. The seminar is free and open to the public.
“Financial stability is something that everyone in the community should strive for,” Chapa LaVia said. “Through this seminar, I hope that our community can gain a better understanding of some of the methods that they can use to accomplish this.”
