Yingling Announces Satellite Office Hours, Holiday Open House at Round Lake Beach Office

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – To give local residents more options to visit his office and access state resources during the busy holiday season, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is hosting a Satellite Office Hours and a Holiday Open House this December.

“I always strive to remain accessible to my constituents no matter the season,” Yingling said.“These events give my staff and I additional opportunities to meet with local residents and help to address their concerns. Satellite office hours and evening open office hours offer a more relaxed and casual way to learn about what has been happening in Springfield before the holidays kick off.”

Yingling is hosting Satellite Office Hours on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at the Wauconda Village Hall located at 101 N. Main St. in Wauconda from 10 a.m. until noon. At this event, constituents can receive assistance on a variety of state and local matters. They can also receive help developing their resumes, searching for a job and claiming any property the state may have through the iCash Program.

He is also hosting a ‘District Office Holiday Open House’ event on Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at his full time constituent service office located at 1919 IL Route 83 in Round Lake Beach. During the open house, constituents can visit with Rep. Yingling, his staff and enjoy light holiday refreshments.

Both events are free and open to the public. RSVPs are not necessary but are appreciated. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to benefit families in need this holiday season.

“With the legislature gearing up for a new year, these events will also afford constituents to share their legislative priorities with me,” Yingling said. “I look forward to hosting my satellite office hours and open house, and I hope folks can join me!”
