ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Building upon his efforts to better address public safety issues such as the opioid crisis and other state matters, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is teaming up with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) to host a town hall meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Woodland Elementary School West cafeteria, located at 17371 W Gages Lake Rd., in Grayslake.

“Our local law enforcement and other public safety personal have a tremendous and risky job to do,” Yingling said. “As a lawmaker, it is important for me to support policies that help our local heroes best protect our communities from crime. This town hall will help educate the public on some of the work the sheriff’s office is doing, provide them with important updates from Springfield and allow attendees to have their questions answered.”

The event is free and open to the public. RSVPS are appreciated but not necessary. Constituents are encouraged to contact Yingling by email at RepSamYingling@gmail.com or by phone at 847-231-6262.

“We look forward to meeting to discuss public safety issues,” Sheriff Curran said.  “The Lake County Sheriff’s Office believes that everyone must work together as partners to provide a safe community.”

This is not a Woodland School District 50 sponsored event. Rep. Yingling and Sheriff Curran are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Woodland School District 50.
