CHICAGO – Offering residents the opportunity to protect themselves and their loved ones from the seasonal flu, state Rep. Jaime Andrade, D-Chicago, partnered with Ald. Deb Mell, D-Chicago, and state Sen. Iris Martinez, D-Chicago, to offer a free flu clinic for local residents.

“I would like to thank everyone who took time out of their day to stop at our flu clinic, we had a great turnout,” Andrade said. “Keeping families in our neighborhoods safe and healthy is a top priority of mine, and I’ll continue to work to connect families to services and resources that will help improve their health and well-being.”

Andrade’s Flu Shot clinic provided free flu shots to over 200 residents. Attendees were also able to receive free cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure screenings. If any resident was not able to attend the flu clinic, the City of Chicago is continuing to offer Free Flu clinics over the next few months.
