Chicago – State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz, D-Chicago, and State Sen. John Cullerton, D-Chicago, are hosting a Senior Health Fair at Weiss Memorial Hospital on October 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Health Fair will feature important health services like bone density, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol testing, as well as tips on de-stressing and how to prevent falls. There will also be free snacks, giveaways, and therapeutic massages. Flu shots will be available for free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance cards.

“We’re very excited to bring this opportunity to our neighborhood seniors,” Feigenholtz said. “In addition to being a fun experience, this fair will connect seniors to useful services and information.”

People attending the fair should enter at 4700 Marine Drive or on the east side of Clarendon at Leland, just south of the Walgreens.

Please RSVP by contacting Feigenholtz’s constituent services office at 773-296-4141 or sara@staterepsara.com.
