Jones Organizing Donation Drive for Victims of Hurricane Harvey

CALUMET CITY, Ill. – State Rep. Thaddeus Jones, D-Calumet City, state Rep. Will Davis, D-East Hazel Crest, and state Sen. Napoleon Harris, III, D-Harvey, are encouraging residents to donate supplies for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Donations of bottled water, diapers, soap, new toiletries and socks can be delivered to Beggars Pizza, located at 369 E. 147^th St. in Harvey, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.

“During these times of tragedy, it is important that we come together and do what we can to help those who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey,” Jones said. “Disasters like this always hit underprivileged families hardest, so our simple donations can sometimes mean the difference between life and death for people in need. Your donation can make the difference for a family who has lost everything.”
