ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is inviting local residents to join him for a coffee shop constituent meetup on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to noon in the Panera Bread Community Room located at 254 E. Rollins Rd. in Round Lake Beach.

“I host regular meetings with constituents in local coffee shops, diners and grocery stores in order to give people throughout my district opportunities to come out and talk about the issues that matter most to them and their families,” Yingling said. “Remaining accessible to the people I represent is one of the most important roles for me as a state representative, and hosting an event in a friendly, neighborhood place helps me remain open and accountable to the people I serve.”

Attendees will receive a complimentary beverage and chat with Yingling about a variety of issues, including Yingling’s efforts to reduce the tax burden on middle-class families and invest more state funding into local schools.

“I hope my constituents will utilize this opportunity to come out and talk with me,” Yingling said. “The conversations I have with people, whether at a town hall meeting, while going door to door, or at smaller events like this, provide me the kind of feedback I need to better serve our area.”
