JOLIET, Ill. – As part of her ongoing effort to hear from all the constituents she represents, state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, has been knocking on doors in her district.

“There are a lot of people who contact my office about questions and concerns they have about the state,” Manley said. “However, there are many more that don’t have the time to call or send an email. By going door-to-door, I can make sure that I hear from all of my constituents.”

Manley visited with constituents and provided them with an update about what is going on in Springfield, including her efforts to cut property taxes for homeowners and address the heroin crisis. Manley also collected signatures for her petition to freeze property taxes.

“I enjoy having the opportunity to talk people in the district and learn more about their concerns,” Manley said. “I am looking forward to visiting with others in my district soon.”
