“Spending time in the retirement communities around my district is important to me,” Manley said. “We have a responsibility to care for the elderly and I take that seriously. I appreciate the wisdom and perspective that comes from the many conversations I get to have with seniors.”

Manley was honored to present 25 residents ranging from 90 to 103 years old with certificates for all they have done for our community, Manley spent time speaking with many residents, including Rita Rossi Gleason, a 98-year-old Navy veteran.

“We want our residents to continue to grow and feel like they’re a part of the larger community,” said Executive Director Kristen Stephaniac. “With residents living so much longer, it’s essential that we do our best to support great with our elected officials. Today is a celebration.”
