Grayslake Middle School Students Visit Rep. Yingling for “Tech Day” in State Capitol

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Grayslake Middle School students recently met with state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, to discuss the importance of STEM curriculum and to showcase their projects Wednesday.

“In order for students to have a leg up in an increasingly globalized, high-tech economy, it is important for our youth to have access to quality educational programming in the mathematics and technological fields,” Yingling said. “It was exciting to see the great work our local students are doing, and to have met bright young scholars like Abigail and Noah.”
