OAK PARK, Ill. – State Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Chicago, recently hosted a town hall in Austin to have discussions and address concerns of residents.

“Meeting with my constituents and addressing their concerns continues to be my first priority as a legislator,” Lilly said. “We discussed the importance of passing a full-year budget, funding social and human services, addressing gun violence and many other important topics. I will continue to fight for the hard working families in my district.”

During the town hall, Lilly discussed issues such as how to address gun violence throughout Illinois, education funding, job training and economic opportunity for families throughout the community.

Lilly represents the 78th District, which includes parts of Chicago, Elmwood Park, Franklin Park, Oak Park, Melrose Park and River Grove.
