ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Continuing his efforts to remain accessible to local residents  , state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, recently met with Third Lake resident and Humane Society Director, Christine Pado to discuss  her concerns regarding the state budget, the environment and pending legislation regarding animal abuse.

“Regardless of their political affiliation or issue they may wish to express, I will always work to accommodate my constituents and appreciate the opportunity to hear from them whether it’s on their porch when I go door to door or in my office,” Yingling said. “As a lawmaker, meeting with local activists like Ms. Pado help me keep a pulse on the issues that matter to our area, and I look forward to our collaborative work on issues like the environment and animal welfare.”
