CHICAGO – Offering guidance to residents that are considering purchasing a house for the first time, state Rep. John D’Amico, D-Chicago, hosted a First Time Homebuyers Mortgage Seminar on Saturday.
At D’Amico’s seminar, over 20 residents received information and guidance from Mike Olach of Inland Home Mortgage regarding the best practices when exploring buying a house for the first time.
“There are many grants and loans available to first time homebuyers,” D’Amico said. “Purchasing a home for the first time can be a daunting process, and this seminar informed residents of basic tips as well as the various grants and loans they may qualify for.”
